Netflix Suffers Outage, Streaming Service Down for Hundreds of Customers

Netflix’s video streaming providers have been down for hundreds of users on Thursday, based on outage-tracking website Downdetector.com.

There were around 1,800 reviews on Downdetector, which collates standing studies from quite a few sources.

About 55 % of the customers reported issues with the website, in line with Downdetector.

Netflix didn’t immediately reply to a Reuters request for comment.

Netflix, which has more than 200 million paid subscribers globally, stays a dominant streaming service.

The streaming service final month minimize prices of its subscription plans in some nations because it appeared to take care of subscriber progress amid stiff competition and strained shopper spending.

Netflix, which operates in over one hundred ninety nations, has been trying to grow its share in newer international areas because the US and Canada markets saturate. The company added about 7.6 million subscribers in the fourth quarter after bleeding subscribers in the first half of 2022 as rivals similar to Paramount+ and Disney+ raked in subscribers.
